E-COMMERCE

An upgrade to High Branch Software Inc.s business-to-business e-commerce software includes the Site Manager tool. This component of High Branch Commerce 3.0 enables nontechnical business managers to maintain electronic catalogs and site content, create promotions, and report on-site activity.

Existing applications in High Branch Commerce enable midsize distributors and manufacturers to display detailed product information, customize workflow and create Web site content. They also let buyers search the online catalogs in a number of different ways.

Version 3.0, available now, is compliant with Microsoft Corp.s .Net architecture, runs on Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 and uses Extensible Markup Language to integrate with third-party software, according to officials at High Branch, in Annandale, Va.
