Management consultant Robbins-Gioia LLC (www.robbinsgioia.com) Wednesday announced an alliance with Expert Choice Inc. (www.expertchoice.com), a maker of decision support software.

Expert Choice will contribute implementation and training support to the pact, while Robbins-Gioia will provide its methodologies for strategic planning and program management. The companies plan to provide tools and processes in such areas as portfolio prioritization, vendor selection, new product development, and systems integration.

Robbins-Gioia offers consulting services to state, local, and federal government as well as commercial markets such as automotive and financial services. Expert Choice has more than 50,000 users, according to the company. Customers include Ford, IBM, General Motors, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
