Bing’s focus on expanding the different types of data present on a search results page extends to its health care coverage. Here’s what you get when typing in “hospital.”

With Bing’s expanded health information, typing in the name of a specific medical center will not only deliver its official site, but also such data as reviews, nearby points of interest, and the like.

Typing in a disease-related query such as “heart attack” will result in lists of related conditions, medications and medical centers that specialize in that disease.

Hospital queries return patient ratings, taken from a Department of Health and Human Services database.

Typing in the name of a drug pulls a variety of reference information and collects it on one page.

Bing breaks down the traditional lists of hyperlinked search results into subcategories, as seen here.

Medications display clickable details such as “What drug(s) may interact with it,” and “What side effects may I notice?”

Bing also includes links to content partners.

Bing uncovers key related topics by analyzing an index of medical sources and automatically extrapolating the data.

Certain hospitals also post user reviews from sites such as Yelp.
