COLLABORATION

Intraspect Software Inc. is upgrading its enterprise platform to allow for more collaboration among a companys employees, customers, partners and suppliers, with the goal of bringing products and services to market more quickly.

Intraspect 4, announced last week, lets companies build knowledge-based, collaborative applications that integrate with enterprise applications—such as customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning and supply chain management. It also helps mobile users access the information they need, said officials of the Brisbane, Calif., company.

Product enhancements include tools to create workspaces for managing co-branded extranets for collaboration, content and document management. In addition, the platform will be extended to users of mobile and wireless devices, and customization capabilities will allow companies to build collaborative applications that can be deployed quickly in the enterprise.

Available now, pricing for Intraspect 4 starts at $800 per seat. The addition of Service Collaboration, Product Collaboration and Customer Collaboration applications to the platform raises its price to $1,200 per seat.
