Citrix Systems last week rolled out the latest iteration of its remote access software, MetaFrame Access Suite 3.0, at an event in New York.

New to the suite is a common management interface, which officials said gives administrators greater control to monitor and manage application access across the enterprise.

Also new is SmoothRoaming, which officials said provides users with uninterrupted mobile access as they change devices or locations. The software can automatically re-establish network connections, saving any data, which allows users to move from building to building or from the office to home without losing work, according to officials.

Citrixs suite includes four components: Presentation Server, Secure Access Manager, Password Manager and Conferencing Manager. Prices for the suite range from $299 to $599 per user.
