Out with best of breed Webridge Inc. is betting that users of B2B platforms want to buy multi-integrated suites, rather than building best-of-breed systems. The Beaverton, Ore., company last week began shipping Webridge PX 4.0, which boasts features that enable richer collaboration among business partners.
Secure access The version includes customer relationship management, collaborative portal and business-to-business e-commerce features. The suite also helps enterprises grant business partners and their customers secure access to Webridge PX sites, company officials said.
Microsoft-enabled Webridge PX 4.0 incorporates Microsoft technologies, including BizTalk Server 2000 and Commerce Server as well as Microsoft .Net functionality. Webridge officials said its possible to implement a Webridge PX site in 90 days.
Pricing Webridge PX 4.0 is priced from $50,000 to $1 million depending on configuration.
