Maxamines Maxamine knowledge Platform 2.2 is clearly one of the best visual Web site analysis tools Ive seen.

Maxamine Knowledge Platform is available as a hosted or server-based product. (I tested the server-based version.) Both utilize the same Windows-based analysis application. I was able to quickly scan several Web sites and could also scan network folders and other resources.

Maxamine provides graphical representation of sites. However, I liked that Knowledge Platform let me choose from multiple graphical views and effectively filtered out nonessential pages and information.

Overall, the reporting and analysis features in the product are excellent, providing detailed information on site quality, privacy and tag usage, and (when combined with server logs) visual traffic analysis. The product also allows several good canned reports and top-line score cards.

I could view and compare site reports over time, and a scheduling agent let me run regular reports. Server-based pricing starts at $50,000 for 10 domains; the hosted price is $75,000 annually for 10 domains.
