Most Disruptive Companies, Part 4

In this final installment of the Baseline 25 Most Disruptive Companies series, Lawrence Walsh and Chris Gonsalves take a look at some real innovators, which, though they may not all be technology companies, are disrupting their own markets as well as using technology in disruptive ways. Some examples: iRobot's gutter-cleaning robot and robots that are being built for the military and law enforcement that save lives; Tesla Motors, whose Roadster electric car can go from 0-60 mph in four seconds using conventional battery power, and is using CAD/CAM and Product Lifecycle Management tools in innovative ways; design firm IDEO, whose innovative designs challenge conventional wisdom and the status quo; and Amazon, which is breaking ground in online cloud computing and storage services.
