Next month, Onfolio will formally introduce the second version of its namesake Web content capture and knowledge management application, including new features that make it a collaborative, rather than single-user, tool.
Based on my tests of Onfolios first edition a year ago, the $100 Onfolio Professional Edition 2.0 needed to add every one of these features, not only to make it a more practical tool but also to compete with a growing number of comparable products, such as Net Snippets Net Snippets Professional.

I liked what I saw in the preview version, particularly the support for Firefox and the ability to capture and organize RSS feeds. The most practical improvement for corporate use is the ability to publish content to a Web server via FTP so that reports created in Onfolio Publisher can be easily shared.
Onfolio also has a couple of nice RSS features, including the ability to perform a one-click action, such as save to a reading list or capture to a collection. The RSS feature is a two-way street in that Onfolio also publishes reports via RSS and can publish information directly to a blog.
Onfolio has added Firefox support through a Firefox extension, which worked well in my tests. A feature I particularly liked in Onfolio was the ability to capture multiple e-mail messages and attachments and store that information in an Onfolio collection.
