At the premier HP enterprise software show, HP Software Universe in Barcelona, Replay Solutions delivers a continuous monitoring solution for HP Quality Center that links application recordings into quality workflow.

BARCELONA, Spain-At the HP Software Universe 2010 conference here, Replay Solutions, maker of software quality tools, launched ReplayDIRECTOR for HP Quality Center.

ReplayDIRECTOR for HP Quality Center is an integrated software record/replay solution for HP Quality Center, which itself is a key product for global quality management, HP said. Replay is an HP Enterprise Management Alliance Program (EMAP) Gold Business Partner and a maker of continuous application monitoring, software debugging and defect resolution software.

Replay officials said ReplayDIRECTOR for HP Quality Center provides several key benefits for joint customers, including automated data collection for software defects streamlines communication, where ReplayDIRECTOR automatically collects logs, screenshots and software execution recordings and links them to HP Quality Center defect reports. This provides software teams with all the data required to reproduce and resolve software defects without needing to collect additional information or write detailed problem reports.

The new solution also eliminates hard-to-reproduce defects and increases software quality and reliability, the company said. ReplayDIRECTOR records and replays software execution, ensuring that any recorded issue will be reproduced in a fully debuggable environment with live code execution and 100 percent fidelity, thereby eliminating hard-to-reproduce or "no-repro" bugs.
