Sage Software, the Irvine, Calif. company that specializes in business management software for small and midsize businesses, announced on Nov. 7 the launching of Sage Pro ERP 7.4, software that allows businesses to access and control the flow of important company information.

“Sage Pro ERP 7.4 provides users with greater visibility, insight and faster access to their key financial, operational and customer information,” said Craig Downing, Sage Software vice president and general manage for Sage Accpac, in a company statement.

Sage Pro ERP 7.4, available in two editions, 100 and 200, and comes with many features that aim to help SMBs improve their performance.

One example is Executive Dashboard, which will let managers analyze aspects of their company such as accounts, charts, graphs and customer contact information by using data that is located in their Sage Pro ERP system.

The new software for SMBs will also give users access to the new document routing feature, which gives companies the ability to designate and control users access levels to various information, while also providing them with the key information that they need to do their jobs.

Sage Pro ERP 7.4 also features RMA (return merchandise authorization), a RFQ (request for quote) module, RFID (radio-frequency identification) and new time-saving functionality with “one-click” drill down screens.

In the same company statement, Downing said that “all of this enhanced business management functionality, plus the edition of the new RMA and RFQ modules offers even more value and return on investment to both our existing and new clients.
