Sage Software announced Dec. 6 that it has released Sage Accpac HRMS, a human resource management system for Sage Accpac ERP and Sage Pro enterprise resource planning.

The new human resource management software designed for SMBs (small and midsize businesses) features HR, attendance and training modules to meet the HR management, benefits administration, information tracking, reporting and legislative needs of businesses.

Sage Accpac HRMS will also feature improved job description information, flexibility in identifying employee seniority for attendance purposes and the ability to track an employees vacation time.

Sages new HRMS product enables SMBs to track information such as EEOC (equal employment opportunity commission) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements.

“Its specifically designed for small and midsize businesses, with market-leading features and functionality, and our existing new clients can be confident knowing they are deploying the top HR solution available,” said Jim Campbell, vice president of ADSS Global, a Sage Software business partner, in a company release.

The Accpac HRMS will also include Accpac Workforce Connections, which will offer businesses with Web-based workflow automation capabilities through other Sage applications such as Sage Accpac ESS (employee self-service), Sage Accpac Benefits Enrollment modules and the new Sage Accpac eRecruiter module.

The eRecruiter aids HR professionals by widening their Internet recruiting strategies, reducing hiring costs and making the recruiting process more bearable. It also allows potential employees to view open positions, submit resumes and fill out applications online.

Sage Accpac HRMS is now available from authorized Sage Accpac and Sage Pro business partners starting at $650.
