SAP AG is reaching out to automotive suppliers.

An automotive business process software developer, pmc America Inc., announced today that SAP AG has added its software as a qualified mySAP All-in-One vertical solution.

Geared toward the small and midsized automotive supplier, pmc Navigate Automotive covers 33 automotive specific processes and tailors each to the specific needs of the individual businesses, pmc officials said, in Southfield, Mich.

Navigate Automotive is built on the framework of mySAP All-in-One vertical platform with industry specific additions by pmc and Inovis Inc., which brings EDI expertise to the table.

What pmc Navigate provides to users is an Automotive Supplier Business Blueprint that helps accelerate the softwares implementation. The blueprint also details those 33 automotive-specific business processes based on SAPs best practices.

A subset of those processes is what is combined into an offering tailored for individual companies.

The mySAP All-in-One vertical software offerings are themselves based on industry best practices. Geared toward the SMB market, SAP offers eighteen vertically specific software packages.
