The list, which includes 51 women, is based in part on the success of their businesses. But it’s also based on the economic impact their corporations have on the world as well as their personal influence on people. And at the top of this year’s list is General Motors chairman and CEO Mary Barra. But the list also includes the most powerful women in the information technology industry, according to the Forbes list. This slide show will cover the ten most powerful women in the technology sector they became so important both to their companies and the industry.
