IT integrator IMPRES Technology Solutions has received a $19 million award to provide standardized, pre-configured rugged laptop devices to federal customers via the General Services Administration AdvantageSelect program.

The awarded multi-agency Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract contains a base period of performance of one year, with multiple one-year options available to be exercised at the government’s discretion.

IMPRES has been selected as the sole awardee under Category 3, exclusively set aside for Dell products.

This project aims to satisfy the federal Office of Management & Budget’s (OMB) mandate to streamline the acquisition lifecycle by reducing the need for multiple concurrent procurements of similar nature. IMPRES, in partnership with Dell EMC, will provide ordering agencies with ruggedized laptop devices to aid with mission-critical work activities involving field-related operations.

IMPRES has accumulated decades of technological expertise with a thorough understanding of the federal procurement and contracting process. The company specializes in aggregating, integrating and transforming technologies into turnkey solutions while reducing risk and lowering costs.

IMPRES serves defense and civilian agencies, as well as large systems integrators and specializes in cybersecurity and proactive defense, cloud lifecycle support, IT infrastructure, and technology services. As an SBA-certified HUBZone, IMPRES has a history of high-quality contract performance and has been recognized as an ISO 9001:2015 certified firm.

GSA AdvantageSelect establishes FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation)-compliant, pre-competed, short-term, contractual agreements for acquiring recurring, high-volume, commodity requirements. These are designed to enable more competition on the most commonly purchased commodity items, then showcasing and providing transparency of these products and pricing to the entire government acquisition enterprise for the ultimate experience in low cost, streamlined purchasing.

Using GSA AdvantageSelect, government buyers can order directly from the contractual agreements without having to perform any further competition, thus minimizing contracting costs, streamlining the ordering process, meeting sustainable acquisition and socio-economic goals and consolidating Government buying initiatives.
