In 1999, Comdisco appeared as a competitor in NetSolves IPO slide presentation. Now, the business-continuity specialist soon may be a customer.

NetSolve last week said it signed a letter of intent to provide remote network-management services to Comdisco customers. Comdisco recently exited that field. Craig Tysdal, NetSolves president and CEO, says the companys partnering philosophy is to deliver its services as a subset of a complete solution. NetSolve does 85 percent of its business through distribution, he adds.
