Boost Mobile Unveils $70 ZTE Tempo Smartphone

The ZTE Tempo budget phone features a 4.5-inch touch-screen display, a quad-core processor, a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The ZTE Tempo handset features a 4.5-inch touch-screen thin-film-transistor (TFT) display, a Qualcomm MSM8909 1.1GHz processor, 1GB of memory and 8GB of on-board storage. The smartphone also accepts memory cards up to 32GB in its built-in microSD card slot.

For photography fans, the Tempo handset includes a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing selfie camera. The phone runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
ZTE Tempo Is Mobile Hotspot-Capable

The ZTE Tempo can be used on Boost Mobile calling plans as a mobile hotspot for up to 5 WiFi-enabled devices on the go. The handset, which includes a 3.5mm headset jack and comes in a Nature Blue color, is 5.35 inches long, 2.67 inches wide and 0.40 inches thick, and weighs 4.8 ounces.
ZTE Tempo Offers 14 Hours of Talk Time

Powered by a 2,200mAh Li-Ion battery, the Tempo provides up to 14 hours of talk time on a charge. The handset is built to operate seamlessly between Sprint’s nationwide 3G and 4G LTE networks and can be used for calling in Mexico.
Boost Offers Individual and Family Calling Plans

Boost Mobile no-contract calling plans start at $30 a month with the Unlimited Starter plan, which includes 1GB of high-speed data. An extra gigabyte of data is $5, or customers can pay $10 for an extra 2GB of data a month. The company also offers its Unlimited Unhook’d plan, which is $50 a month for unlimited 4G LTE data, with optimized lower-speed streaming for video, gaming and music. Customers can add a second line for $30 a month on either plan, with up to five family lines per account at an additional $30 per line. All Boost Mobile calling plans have unlimited talk and text and music streaming with selected partners, $5 per month savings with an auto-pay option, mobile hotspot capabilities and no contracts or commitments. Boost Mobile is a division of the Sprint Prepaid Group and operates on Sprint’s network.
Boost Added the $100 ZTE Warp 7 Smartphone in August

The ZTE Tempo is just one of the many ZTE phones offered by Boost Mobile. In August, Boost unveiled the $100 ZTE Warp 7 handset, which includes a 5.5-inch HD touch-screen display with a Gorilla Glass cover, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of memory and 16GB of on-board storage. The handset, which runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS, also includes a microSD card slot that accepts storage cards up to 64GB for expanded storage, a 13MP main rear camera with 1080p video capabilities, a 5MP front-facing camera and a removable 3,080mAh li-polymer battery. The handset is 6.07 inches long, 2.99 inches wide and 0.36 inches thick, and weighs 5.6 ounces.
Boost Unveiled the LG X Power Smartphone in September

The LG X Power smartphone, which Boost Mobile began offering in September, is a $130 handset with a 5.3-inch HD touch-screen display, a MediaTek MT6755M 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of memory and 16GB of on-board storage. Also included are an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing selfie camera and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The 3G/4G phone has a 4,100mAh nonremovable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is 5.86 inches high, 2.95 inches wide and 0.31 inches thick. The handset weighs 4.87 ounces.
