Cambridge Silicon Radio is preparing to ship an 802.11a/b/g combo chipset in 2004.

The chipset could offer improvements in size, power or cost over competitors products, said J. Eric Janson, vice president of marketing for CSR.

The company said it is not planning an integrated Bluetooth/Wi-Fi product.
