by Clint Boulton
2Nexus One Front
The gray device is sleek, boasting and AMOLED display for richer, brighter colors.
3Nexus One Back
Google’s logo is clearly marked atop the back of the device, with manufacturer HTC’s logo taking the lower part of the smartphone.
4Nexus One Side, Front
Very sleek design, long and pleasant to the touch. The display is 3.7 inches, same as the Droid.
5Nexus One Side, Back
The gadget offers a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus with flash and geo tagging.
6Nexus True Side
The device is thin, only 11.5 millimeters thick and weighs 130 grams, 40 grams less than the Motorola Droid and 5 grams less than Apple’s iPhone.
7Nexus, With Headphones
The gadget has two microphones to provide noise cancellation technology. Make a call and the microphones pick up your voice, but filter out background noise.
8The Nexus One Deck
One of the most exciting things about the Nexus One is the Android 2.1-powered user interface. This slide shows how to access contacts on the smartphone.
9Nexus Widgets
Multiple widgets and five home screen panels allow for further device customization. The weather widget senses where you are and provides climate info on the fly.
10Nexus Apps
Flit easily back and forth between Gmail, Picasa, YouTube and other applications with the flick of a finger on the touchscreen.
11Nexus GPS
Like the Motorola Droid before it, the Nexus One comes with Google Maps Navigation, providing turn-by-turn directions narrated by the phone. This app also provides Street View footage to show people exactly what the terrain looks like around them.
12Nexus Voice Apps
Perhaps one of the prized aspects of the Nexus One is the voice-enabled keyboard. Speak a text message, instant message, Twitter tweet, Facebook update, or complete an e-mail, all without typing.
