      Sprint claims the smartphone has 6 hours of talk time on a single battery charge. However, that could vary depending on 3G/4G usage.

      Up to eight WiFi-enabled devices can use the HTC Evo 4G as a 3G/4G mobile hot spot.

      The HTC Evo 4G features a 8-megapixel auto-focus camera in back and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, for taking images and video chat.

      Sprint Navigation offers 3D maps, turn-by-turn driving directions and similar features that make use of the phone’s digital compass and GPS.

      The HTC Evo 4G allows simultaneous voice and data capability in 4G and WiFi coverage areas, so a user can keep talking while, say, looking up a restaurant.

      Sprint says the smartphone’s Web browser supports Adobe Flash, making available a wide number of Websites’ rich media content.

      Google Goggles allows users to search based on images snapped with the smartphone’s camera.

      Sprint CEO Dan Hesse announced at a New York event that the HTC Evo 4G would sell for $199 and arrive in stores on June 4.

      The HTC Evo 4G relies only on a virtual keyboard for input, unlike some other devices, such as the Motorola Droid.
