Inside the NU2S Unlocked Smartphone From NUU Mobile

Despite its low price tag, the NU2S features a bright 4.5-inch qHD touch-screen display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor, a MediaTek MTK 6582 chipset and 512MB of RAM.

The NU2S handset includes 4GB of on-board storage that can be expanded with a 32GB microSD card. It also features a removable 2,000mAh battery that is capable of powering five hours of HD video watching, 25 hours of music, 8.5 hours of talk time and 225 hours of standby time.

The latest NUU Mobile handset runs on the Android 5.0 operating system, providing users with a wide range of built-in Google services and apps, including the Chrome browser, Google Maps, the Google Play Store and much more.

Like more expensive smartphones, the NU2S includes dual SIM slots, one of which works with 4G networks while the other supports 2G networks. The dual SIM slots allow users to have two different phone numbers on their devices or to use one of the slots for a local phone number while traveling internationally. Also included are WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities.

Built-in is a rear-facing 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and burst mode, beauty mode and voice control capture capabilities, as well as a front-facing 2MP camera for selfies. The handset is 5.25 inches long, 2.6 inches wide, 0.36 inches thick and weighs 4.8 ounces.

The NU2S also includes a data transfer technology called HotKnot from MediaTek, which lets users move data from phone-to-phone by tapping the screens of the devices together. Users can also make PayPal payments and fund transfers using HotKnot, which also syncs data with compatible smartwatches.

The NU2S comes with a removable black rear cover, but users who want to personalize their handsets can buy this set of three interchangeable replacement covers in white, pink and blue for $19.99 to customize their phones on a whim to fit their moods.
