An Intel researcher is looking into ways to use RFID to help the aging, especially those with debilitating Alzheimers disease.
Eric Dishman, 36, one of a small group of anthropologists and social scientists at Intel, has been studying the use of RFID and sensors in health care to gather data such as monitoring light, temperature, humidity, vibration or other environmental factors, and send the data to a computer that can analyze all the input together.
