Intel Corp. has acquired Mobilian Inc., a wireless systems company that develops chips, software and reference designs to support multiple wireless radio standards in portable devices. Mobilian had been working on a chipset that combines 802.11b with Bluetooth. Mobility first announced its “TrueRadio” development in 2000.
