1 - Moov Rolls Out New Personal Coaching Fitness Wearables

The Moov HR Sweat sweatband and the Moov HR Swim swimming cap, which have heart rate sensors and artificial intelligence capabilities, provide personal coaching to users.

      2The Moov HR Sweat Sweatband

2 - The Moov HR Sweat Sweatband

This is no ordinary sweatband. The Moov HR Sweat is a waterproof sweatband that features a tiny, lightweight, built-in Moov HR sensor that monitors a user’s heart rate while they are running, walking, working out, cycling or participating in other activities. The sensor works with the Moov HR smartphone app for Android or iOS to provide real-time AI-powered voice coaching to urge users on as they exercise. The spoken comments are generated based on a user’s heart rate.

3Real-Time Data Collection for Workout Optimization

3 - Real-Time Data Collection for Workout Optimization

The Moov HR app works with LED lights and optical sensors in both the sweatband and swimming cap to measure blood density around a wearer’s temples, which helps provide accurate heart rate data, according to the company.

4Heart Rate Monitoring Fuels Personal Audio Coaching

4 - Heart Rate Monitoring Fuels Personal Audio Coaching

The Moov HR Sweat, and its sibling Moov HR Swim, provide real-time audio coaching to encourage users and help them gain the maximum results from their workouts. The multi-sport sweatband acts like a personal fitness coach to encourage users when running with messages such as, “This is your toughest hill so far, you can do it!” or, “Lengthen your stride, good job!” Each device detects a user’s precise motion to accurately provide coaching during workouts.

5The Moov HR Swim Swimming Cap

5 - The Moov HR Swim Swimming Cap

This swimming cap is a fitness wearable that can monitor heart rate, arm strokes, calories expended and more. Although the user can’t listen to real-time performance coaching while in the water, the Moov HR app catalogs the user’s workout and provides audio comments after the workout.

      6Features EKG-Level Heart Rate Accuracy

      6 - Features EKG-Level Heart Rate Accuracy

Both the Moov HR Sweat and the Moov HR Swim incorporate heart rate monitoring that is as accurate as the monitoring provided by an EKG, according to Moov. The heart rate data is shown to users on their smartphone display in both waveform EKG representation and in numerical form. Users can share their personal results with other users on social media through the Moov Leaderboard.

7Review Your Tracked Fitness Data to Monitor Progress

7 - Review Your Tracked Fitness Data to Monitor Progress

Moov HR Sweat and Moov HR Swim users can monitor their progress toward their fitness goals by reviewing their saved workout data collected in the Moov HR app. The app and devices allow users to compete and connect their data across all kinds of sports.

      8The Moov Now Fitness Tracker

8 - The Moov Now Fitness Tracker

Introduced in July 2015, the company’s Moov Now fitness tracker can be worn on the wrist or ankle and provides personal verbal coaching using the device’s sensors and accompanying app. Priced at $59.95, Moov Now tracks a user’s activities using its heart rate monitor and operates for six months on a charge. The device coaches wearers to pick up their pace, shorten their stride and more based on data from the sensors.
