VMWare’s Mobile Virtualization Platform allows smartphone users to partition their device into a Personal Phone running alongside a virtualized Work Phone environment.

By tapping on an icon on the Personal Phone screen, the user transitions to that Work Phone environment (and vice versa). You can lock away the latter with a code.

This prepaid smartphone (offered via Boost Mobile) features Android 2.3 (with full access to the Android Marketplace), a 5-megapixel camera and integration with Google services.

The ZTE Warp feels light and thin at 0.45 inches thick, with a 4.3-inch display, and a weight of 4.93 ounces.

The Samsung WiFi Camera, due in the first quarter of 2012, also features a two-way talk feature.

Motorola Mobility’s Droid Razr features a 4.3-inch screen, dual-core 1.2GHz processor and a battery the company claims is capable of 12.5 hours 3G talk time.

The Razr’s body is an ultra-thin one composed of steel, Gorilla Glass, Kevlar and other materials. It resembles a Droid without the bulkiness.

Motorola’s MotoActive is a combination music player and health monitor meant for use in exercising. Appropriately, it’s also lightweight.

Polaroid’s new z340 Instant Digital Camera retains the same form factor that made the brand so popular in the 1980s. The device can snap shots with its 14-megapixel lens, store them on its hard drive and print images from the front aperture.
