      Like the original Galaxy S6 models, the new S6 Active has a chassis made of aircraft-grade aluminum, as well as a 5.1-inch, quad HD Super AMOLED display. The phones are covered on both sides by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The S6 Active includes 32GB of internal storage.

      The S6 Active is packed in an IP68-certified casing that’s water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and is shock-resistant and dust-proof for harsh conditions. Like other Galaxy S6 phones, it supports 4G Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks and will support future LTE networks.

      With the Activity Zone app, S6 Active users can always be ready for their outdoor adventures. The app keeps track of plenty of useful data, including full weather and compass readings, while also providing an easy-to-access flashlight, stopwatch and more.

      The S6 Active’s 5.1-inch quad HD Super AMOLED display provides useful capabilities for users to view movies or videos while they are out on their adventures. The improved display makes images, videos and documents come to life for users, even in low light.

      With a 3,500mAh battery, users can go into the Ultra Power Saving Mode at 10 percent charge and still have up to 24 hours of talk and text time, or they can get a fast 50 percent charge in about 40 minutes. The S6 can also be charged wirelessly with an optional wireless charging pad.
