Samsung continues to expand its enterprise computer offerings with a new Galaxy TabPro S two-in-one tablet/notebook combination and a two new Notebook 9 models that feature screens in 15-inch or 13.3-inch sizes. The latest devices debuted Jan. 6 at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.

The Galaxy TabPro S (pictured) is a premium tablet that runs on Microsoft Windows 10 and aims to provide portable notebook PC capabilities for users in a smaller, lighter package, according to Samsung. The two new Notebook 9 models are designed to be sleek, powerful machines for mobile professionals who need to be productive even when they are out of their offices.

The Galaxy TabPro S, which will be available in February, can be configured with Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro for consumers or business users. The machines, which are 0.25 inches thick and 1.5 pounds, include a sixth-generation Intel Core M dual-core 2.2GHz processor and incorporate a flexible keyboard hinge that enables a wide range of viewing angles.

The Galaxy TabPro S also includes a 12-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display, LTE Cat 6 connectivity and fast charging that can fully charge the device’s battery in 2.5 hours. The battery offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life per charge. The TabPro S is a fanless device that operates on only 4.5W of power for quiet operation.

Users can also outfit their devices with an optional multi-port adapter that offers High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and USB Type A and C ports, and a Bluetooth Pen. The Galaxy TabPro S will be available globally in February. Prices will be announced later.

The machines include 4GB of memory, solid-state drive (SSD) storage in 128GB or 256GB capacities, a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a 5MP front camera, and a 5,200mAh battery.

      The Samsung Notebook 9

The 13.3-inch Notebook 9 includes a Full HD display and can be configured with processors up to Intel Core i7 CPUs and 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR3 memory. The machine can be purchased with a 128GB or 256GB SSD for storage and runs on Windows 10. Also included is a 720p camera, two USB 3.0 ports and ports for micro HDMI, mini Ethernet and mini VGA connectors. A three-in-one card reader for SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards is also built in. Pricing has not yet been announced. The 13.3-inch Notebook 9, which weighs 1.85 pounds, offers up to 10 hours of battery life on a charge.

The 15-inch Notebook 9 also features a Full HD display as well as a choice of processors up to Intel Core i7 CPUs. The machines, which also run on Windows 10, can be purchased with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR3 memory and 128GB or 256GB SSDs for storage. The machine also has an integral 720p camera, one USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and ports for HDMI, mini Ethernet connectors. A microSD slot is also included. The larger notebook weighs 2.84 pounds. Users can expect up to 12 hours of use on a charge of its battery, which can fully charge in 90 minutes.

Both Notebook 9 machines also incorporate new Security CAM features that allow users to take and send photos through their on-board cameras to a pre-registered email address in case of theft, according to Samsung. New Pattern Log-in, Secret Screen, Screen and Record Block features can be used to protect the private files and information of users.

Both Samsung Notebook 9 series models will be available in two colors, Iron Silver or Modern Pink, and will be available in select markets in early 2016.
