At A Glance

Company:
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AG, www.sonyericsson.com
Price:
$399 direct

Spec Data:
2MB memory; 2-inch, 128-by-160 TFD (thin film diode); 65,000-color depth; 352-by-288, 16-million-color camera (no flash); Bluetooth and IR connectivity; 9 hours digital talk time; 300 hours digital standby; WAP 2.0 capability

Pros:
Interchangeable design, Bluetooth support, easy to use
Cons:
Bulky, subpar camera; headset jack supports only Sony Ericsson-compatible headsets
Bottom Line:
The Sony Ericsson Z600 has a lot to offer—such as Bluetooth connectivity, style options, and a camera—but overall, its simply an okay player in an increasingly competitive market. We would recommend looking at the Motorola V series phones, which cost less ($129 to $300).

Review:
The stylish and functional Sony Ericsson Z600 GSM flip phone has some interesting features, including Bluetooth connectivity, but its not a standout. The phone is available only through the Sony Ericsson Web site.
