Sprint is offering $200 off a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, while AT&T is heavily discounting five different smartwatches as part of their respective sales promotions for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

The Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 offer begins online on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, as the company cuts the price of the S5 and its companion Galaxy S5 Sport smartphones by $200 over the term of a 24-month contract, according to a Nov. 21 announcement. The phones must be purchased through a Sprint Lease or Sprint Easy Pay installment plan.

Customers signing up for either plan will pay no down payment for their devices. Under the Sprint Lease plans, customers will pay $20 per month for 24 months for the device (total $480), but will receive an $8.34 Black Friday credit on their bills each month for 24 months, making the actual monthly cost for the device $11.66, according to Sprint. That amounts to a $200.16 discount over the life of the contract. The discounted price of the phone through the installments totals $279.84.

Customers can also get the Galaxy S5 or Galaxy S5 Sport under a no-contract Sprint Easy Pay plan with a $200 Black Friday instant discount off the phone’s normal $649.99 suggested retail price. Easy Pay customers still have to make $24 monthly payments of $18.75 (total $450), but there is no contract for wireless services.

Both deals will also be available in Sprint stores starting on Nov. 28, Black Friday.

Wireless services and data plans are in addition to the Sprint Lease or Easy Pay plans. Customers can combine their new devices with the Sprint Family Share Pack plans, including 20GB of shared data per month for up to 10 lines with unlimited talk and text for $100 a month through 2015.

Sprint is also offering in-store customers a $300 Black Friday discount on the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio speaker with the purchase of any other JBL or Harmon Kardon product. The Onyx Studio speaker, specially priced at $99, is a Bluetooth speaker that works with any Bluetooth-enabled device. It normally sells for $399.

The $99 price for the speaker can also be received if a customer purchases three accessories. The special prices are valid only through Dec. 1.

Sprint customers can also take advantage of a special Black Friday 50 percent off deal on JBL Synchros Slate Headphones for $139.99, a discount of $140 off their normal price of $279.99. The over-the-ear headphones feature a lightweight steel headband, and JBL Professional Audio Sound with PureBass and LiveStage technology.

      AT&T Black Friday Deals

For Black Friday shoppers, AT&T will offer big discounts on five different smartwatches and fitness bands, each priced at $99 for the sale, according to a Nov. 21 announcement. The special prices will be available only through Cyber Monday, Dec. 1.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit fitness band, which has a curved 1.84-inch AMOLED display, normally sells for $199. The Gear Fit will only be available in black for the special pricing.

Also on sale for the event will be the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 Neo smartwatch, which retails for $199.99; the Martian Notifier, which retails for $129; the LG G Watch, which retails normally for $229; and the Pebble Smart Watch, which sells for $150.

Customers who buy an LG G Watch along with an LG Smartphone can receive an additional 50 percent off, according to AT&T.
