Empirix Inc. this month announced Multimedia Test Ensemble, a system for testing customer-facing voice and Web applications and infrastructures.

The Waltham, Mass., companys system combines its Hammer IT (voice testing) and e-Test suite (Web testing) with the new Multimedia Synchronization Server and Multimedia Test Manager tools.

MTE can generate virtual callers, Web users and contact center agents and can measure the “quality of experience” for each user type. Multimedia Synchronization Server synchronizes voice- and Web-testing scripts, and Multimedia Test Manager provides a single-console management interface.

Multimedia Synchronization Server costs $50,000 and is available now. Multimedia Test Manager will be available in August and will start at $30,000.
