Calypso Wireless Inc. this week said it is negotiating with a design manufacturer about its technology that enables seamless hand-offs between cellular and Wi-Fi networks. Calypso has not named the company that it described as a “major” manufacturer. The companys recently-granted patent enables devices to automatically detect which wireless networks are available and switch between them.
