A product upgrade from CoSine aims to enhance real-time video presentations over IP networks. The company next quarter will bolster its video switch platform with support for the Protocol Independent Multicast-Sparse Mode protocol and add ability for service providers to create virtual multicast routers for individual enterprise customers. This will enable video broadcasts over IP, officials said.
