Getting to the meeting These tough economic times can make it difficult to get everyone in a company in the same room for a conference. LiveWave Inc. has released a small piece of technology that will make it possible for everyone to easily make the meeting, even if theyre many miles away.

Taking it all in The Newport, R.I., company has unveiled the LiveWave CC-100-LE, a system barely the size of a handheld CD player that enables users to quickly set up a remote-controlled video camera and server system to broadcast high-resolution streaming media over the Internet or private networks.

Package deal The system, available now, includes all the server/encoder hardware and LiveWaves proprietary compression, streaming and remote control software. Pricing starts at $4,995.
