InfiniBand switch vendor InfiniCon Systems has a new CEO.

J. Russell Hawkins takes over the helm of the 4-year-old company from Charles Foley, who will serve on InfiniCons advisory board. Hawkins most recently was senior vice president of Carrier Access, which bought the company where he was president and CEO, wireless networking company Paragon Networks International.

InfiniCon has been growing its series of InfinIO InfiniBand switches, unveiling two additions last month, including the 9200, which offers 288 ports.
