To protect enterprises from network downtime, RiverSoft Inc. has updated its IP network management software.

The third iteration of the product, called Network Management Operating System and Fault Manager 3.0, was crafted to alleviate the problem of network downtime. The software from RiverSoft, of Richmond-upon-Thames, England, performs real-time updating of a networks topology and automatically isolates the causes of problems.

The product includes features that enable accurate updating of network topology, provide a flexible GUI for IT administrators to customize their information display and monitor network health, model the impact of network activity, and streamline network management procedures.

NMOS and Fault Manager 3.0 is available now. Prices start at $25,000.
