Linux distributor Xandros along with NoMachine, maker of NX virtualization desktop, remote access and server management software, will announce on July 18 that NoMachines NX Enterprise Server will start shipping immediately with Xandros Server 2.0.

The companies claim that this extended Xandros-NoMachine alliance provides enhanced capabilities for secure and rapid access to graphical applications, running on any operating system across any network connection.

The combined Xandros-NoMachine package will enable network administrators to provide rapid application deployment through a single installation on the NX terminal server.

After that, employees with access permission can immediately start to use the new applications or a complete thin-client remote desktop.

Xandros has been offering NoMachines NX thin client for several years now.

NoMachine has also made other partnerships over the years to provide thin-client services via application servers.

The partners also state that by keeping corporate data security and the applications on the server this package will enhance application maintenance, data archiving and the securing of sensitive data.
