Addressing the need for real-time access to business and customer analytics, Applix Inc. has announced the general availability of its Applix Weblink 2000.

The technology enables businesses, customers and partners to access, manage and disseminate information through Web and wireless devices.

The Westboro, Mass., company gave the technology limited release last year. It was designed for Applixs iEnterprise customer relationship management tool.

Applix Weblink 2000 relies on an Extensible Markup Language architecture and provides an object-oriented development environment that enables businesses to deploy a single object through multiple mediums. Price is dependent on the number of users.
