An MD, PhD graduate from Harvard and MIT has created mobile computer systems that health workers use to manage diseases like diabetes and AIDS in rural areas. To encourage diabetic patients to monitor their own care, he designed a game that patients can play on their own or with other patients in the wireless community. Vikram Kumar, founder and CEO of Dimagi, was honored as one of the MITs Technology Review 100, a collection of world-changing entrepreneurs under 35, this month.
