For companies in need of a network monitor and packet analyzer for all versions of Windows, TamoSoft Inc. last week unveiled CommView 2.6.

The Christchurch, New Zealand, companys product pinpoints security flaws and LAN bottlenecks and captures and analyzes dial-up or Ethernet connections, officials said.

The new version also features an improved user interface for decoding, filtering and logging packets, whether in TCP/IP, User Datagram Protocol or Internet Control Message Protocol mode. Pricing is between $49 and $119.
