Code names are flying, when it comes to products and services that Microsoft allegedly is planning to go head-to-head with the iPod and iTunes. BetaNews attempts to connect the dots around “Project Argo,” which, allegedly is the code name for Microsoft’s overall portable-player effort. Expect a “Zune” wireless music player; a “Pyxis” iPod Nano competitor and an “Alexandria” iTunes competitor, sources say.
