Microsoft made available for download on August 24 the updated Internet Explorer patch that originally was slated to go out on August 22. This is a patch for individuals running IE 6.0 Service Pack 1 and will fix the new vulnerability introduced by the Patch Tuesday IE patch that was part of security bulletin MS06-042.
