Microsoft Starts Rollout of Windows Live Search 1.0

Over the next three days, Microsoft is planning to move from beta to final gold code for its Windows Live Search service. The Redmondians also are delivering final builds of Windows Live Local Search and Windows Live.com this week. Microsoft has done more than just renamed MSN Search with its latest search properties. For now, Microsoft is still a distant third to Google and Yahoo on the Web search front. Will Windows Live Search give Microsoft a leg up? Stay tuned.
