NetLedger Inc., developers of the Oracle Small Business Suite software, announced Thursday a new module to help small and mid-sized businesses that rely on partners with their selling process.
The Advanced Partner Center provides businesses with the ability to address partner relationship management as well as real time access to information across an organization. Thats because the module is integrated into NetSuite – NetLedgers Enterprise Resource Planning package for small and mid-sized companies.
As a result, using APC, companies can access leads, place orders, check stock and check clients by logging on the Web, company officials said.
The module is also extendable to partners, which provides greater access into production pipelines and forecasts. Partners can access information, for example to determine the effectiveness of a joint marketing campaign, by logging onto the system.
Zach Nelson, president of NetLedger, in San Mateo, Calif., said NetSuites architecture enables companies to extend the same functionality they provide to internal sales, support and service staff to the third parties who are representing them in the market.
Users are provided with a graphical user interface to define what data and application functionality a partner has rights to view and edit, so there is no data to be imported or exported.
Functionality in the APC includes visibility into the sales forecast from resellers with joint opportunity management; streamlined order and inventory management through access to distribution partners, and the ability to protect confidential information using multiple permission levels.
Delivered as an online service, APC is available now for $50 per partner, per month.
