    HP Launches 15 Imaging, Printing Offerings

      Hewlett-Packard unveiled a slew of services, hardware and other solutions for the imaging and printing needs of small and midsize businesses. The offerings include the Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One featuring built-in wireless Bluetooth for printing from select notebooks and smartphones, and a lithium-ion battery with enough juice to print up to 500 pages on a full charge.

      HP€™s Web-connected mono single-function laser printer, the LaserJet Pro 400 M401, and the company€™s first Web-connected mono laser multifunction printer (MFP), the LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425, feature a 3.5-inch touch-screen control panel for accessing applications and managing print functions, support for HP ePrint solutions with wireless direct capability, and support for Apple AirPrint and Google CloudPrint, which allow employees to print from their smartphones or tablets.

      The color LaserJet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575 and the black-and-white LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525 feature an 8-inch, full-color touch-screen with HP Quick Sets, which include send-to options directly on the control panel and allow users to preview, edit and zoom images, as well as support for AirPrint, CloudPrint, ePrint and energy-saving features like auto-on/auto-off technology. The compact Scanjet Enterprise 7000 s2 offers features like €œScan to Sharepoint€ and €œScan to Cloud€ as well as the company€™s Precision Feed and AccuPage technologies.

      HP also announced mobile printing solutions like ePrint Software, enabling PC printing to HP ePrinters at home or at work, and to ePrint Public Print Locations (PPL) for the mobile workforce. The Printer Control app enables users to manage device settings and supplies, and print, copy and scan wirelessly to ePrint-enabled printers, while the ePrint App for Apple and BlackBerry devices lets users print from a smartphone or tablet, and receive recommendations on where to send prints.

      On the print infrastructure management side, HP unveiled the Jetdirect 2700w USB Wireless Print Server for secure, high-speed wireless printing, along with Web Jetadmin 10.3 for performance enhancement, improved workflow management and additional device support. The Imaging and Printing Security Center, which provides policy-based security for HP printing fleets and Instant-On Security for immediate device security when they are added to the network.

      Finally, Access Control Printing Solutions enhance security further with dual-factor authentication and productivity-enhancing features like the ability to send jobs via email.

      The Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One is priced at $399; the LaserJet Pro 400 M401n, M401dn and M401dw are priced $299, $399 and $499, respectively; the LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425dn and M425dw are priced at $499 and $529; and the LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525dn is priced at $1,799. All launch in June.

      The LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M425f is priced at $2,099, the LaserJet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575dn starts at $2,299 and the LaserJet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575f is priced at $2,699. They are also due for a June launch.

      The Scanjet Enterprise 7000 s2 is priced at $1,099 and is available worldwide now.
