OKI Data Brings Professional-Quality Printing to SMBs

Two new OKI Data printer models for small and midsize businesses are designed with new LED array technology rather than the familiar laser or injet print head systems.

Both the C532dn and MC573dn support print resolutions of up to 1,200 by 1,200 dots per inch, meaning small business can now produce small batches of sharp, eye-catching brochures in-house, according to OKI Data.

      3OKI Data C532dn Has a Small Footprint

The C532dn measures a tidy 16.8 inches wide and 11 inches high. Granted, it’s a little deep at 22.5-inches, but small businesses looking for the professional-quality color output shouldn’t have trouble finding desk space for the unit.

4The C532dn has an Expandable Paper Capacity

The C532dn can handle up to 350 sheets, split between the main tray (250 sheets) and the unit’s multi-purpose tray (100 sheets). By adding an optional second and third trays for a total capacity of 1.410 sheets, users can load it up with several reams of paper at once for uninterrupted, all-day printing.

5There’s Plenty of Memory to Keep the Pages Flowing

There's Plenty of Memory to Keep the Pages Flowing

The company packed the C532dn with 1 GB of RAM and 3GB of embedded multimedia controller flash storage, enough to prevent bottlenecks when it’s hit with big documents or print jobs from multiple users. In terms of speed, the unit can print out 31 pages per minute in both color and monochrome modes. Users only have to wait 7.5 seconds for the printer to produce the first page of a print job.

The MC573dn multifunction printer inherits many of the specifications of the smaller C532dn, but it also has a 7-inch touch screen that provides speedy access to commonly-used apps and print functions. It also provides step-by-step guidance for maintenance tasks, eliminating the need to consult a manual or look up answers online.

7The MC573dn Can Copy, Scan and Fax

The MC573dn Can Copy, Scan and Fax

The MC573dn can scan 30 pages per minute at a resolution of 600 by 600 dpi. It sports a 50-sheet automatic document feeder, and supports duplex scanning, copying, and faxing for businesses that still rely on fax-based workflows.

Print and Scan Documents from a USB Thumb Drive With MC573dn

Like its stablemate the C532dn, the MC573dn has no shortage of mobile and cloud printing options. For users that like to keep a trove of documents on their key chains, this printer supports both printing and scanning using a USB thumb drive.
