OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI Printing Solutions brand, announces the addition of two series of digital color printers designed for medium and large workgroups with the launch of the C610 Series and the C711 Series. Both series offer HD (high-definition) Color Technology and come in four configurations that deliver a compact footprint of just 17.1-inch by 21.5-inch by 13.4-inch and print speeds up to 32 ppm color and 34 ppm mono.

Featuring a 400-sheet standard paper capacity (which is expandable to 1,460 with optional second and third paper trays), the C610 Series is also provides flexibility to handle paper weights to 250 gsm. Powered by Single Pass Color Digital technology and 1200 x 600 dpi resolution, the C610 Series provides users with output on a variety of media from 3-inch by 5-inch cards to 8.5-inch by 52-inch banner-size sheets. The C117 series color printer offers professional media flexibility with 52-inch banner capabilities, up to 1,690 paper capacity and 100,000 page monthly duty cycle.

Users can control color printing on both series through a no-charge utility called Color Access Policy Manager (CAPM) from OKI Printing Solutions. CAPM allows for the control, monitoring and tracking of color by defining who can print and what gets printed. Access levels can be assigned by user name, PC/Server name, application, file name and even Website address. C610 Series configuration pricing runs from the standard version at $699 up to an adavanced capability version offering SD card reading for $1,149. C117 Series printers run from $1,099 to $1,449. All models can be purchased through OKI Data America’s authorized partners. The company also offers live, toll-free technical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, with agents based in North America.

“OKI Data Americas understands and anticipates the needs of today’s SMB market and medium to large workgroup users, who are the inspiration for our new C610 Series and C711 Series line of printers,” said Mike Garofola, senior marketing manager of color products for OKI Data Americas. “Not only do both of these feature-rich printer series provide professional quality and functionality, they also include color quality control with Color Swatch and Color Correct, which allows users to easily adjust and match custom colors. Both products are compact in size, yet perform robust applications desired by their targeted end user market segment.”
