OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI Printing Solutions brand, announced the launch of A4/letter color and mono multifunction printers aimed at the small to medium-size business market. The MC361 and MC561 Color multifunction printers offer speed, media flexibility and eco-friendly features while delivering high-definition color output on a variety of media. The MB700 series of mono multifunction printers delivers enhanced printing and copying and smart workflow capabilities, security and flexible paper handling.

The refreshed family of color and mono multifunction printers completes the company’s refresh of its entire A4/letter product portfolio.
The MC361 and MC561 feature HD color and single-pass color digital LED technologies and include built-in multitasking functionality that allows for two tasks to be performed at the same time. Users can also scan documents to multiple locations including PC, network, FTP and e-mail and have the ability to scan to and print from a USB memory stick.

Hard-copy documents can be turned into electronic files by placing them into the standard Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (RADF) or directly onto the flatbed scanner. Both models have fax functionality, including dual-access functionality, telephone/fax auto-switching, telephone answering device (TAD) interface, distinctive ring and ID display.
In addition, the MC361 boasts a print resolution of 1,200 by 600 dpi, a duty cycle of up to 45,000 pages per month and a processor speed of 533MHz, as well as a standard paper capacity of 350 sheets, expandable to 880 sheets, standard duplex printing/copying and the ability to print banners up to 52 inches in length.

The MC561 offers print and copy speeds of up to 27 pages per minute color and 31 ppm mono, standard memory of 256MB (expandable to 768MB), 4GB SD card storage with an option to increase it to 16GB, 1,200-by-600-dpi print resolution, standard duplex printing/copying and a network-ready full QWERTY keyboard, backlit 3.5-inch LCD display and alphanumeric keypad with 1-touch fax dialing keys.
“The market for color multifunction printers continues to grow as more and more businesses transition from single-function to multifunction devices. The MC361 and MC561 deliver print, copy, fax and scan functionality at affordable price points coupled with enhanced features, making them a more value-conscious solution for the SMB customers,” said Carl Taylor, director of marketing for OKI Data Americas. “Our robust multifunction color products offer outstanding color output and superior media flexibility combined with greater dependability, making them ideally suited for demanding workgroup and departmental needs.”
The MB700 Series of mono multifunction printers comes in three configurations: MB780, MB790f with 50-sheet stapler finisher and MB790m with four-bin/100-sheet mailbox. All configurations come standard with a 9-inch color touch-screen LCD with customizable icons; a one-touch job cancel button; a 17-key number pad; customizable user-access controls, allowing users to be assigned individual PIN codes that enable and disable the printer’s functions; and an eco-mode and quiet mode to reduce energy usage and noise emissions.
“The new color and mono multifunction printers offer growing companies an added level of business value by combining all-in-one advanced features into every model. With a clearly defined product portfolio, OKI Data Americas provides printing solutions that increase performance and maximize overall office efficiency for any demanding workplace environment and any workgroup size,” said Taylor. “Our customers benefit from our feature-rich products because we deliver superior functionality, energy efficiency and reliability all at an affordable price that addresses the business challenges of today’s growing companies by enhancing productivity.”
