Now that the lazy days of summer are upon us, hopefully youve found a little more free time. If so, this is the perfect opportunity to trick out your abode with the latest in luxury PC gear—or at least daydream about it.

Heres a list of new products that I personally wish I could install in my very own home. Ranging from supremely media centric computers to slick digital audio receivers, theres plenty here to enjoy and lust after.

Starting with the living room, Sonys VAIO XL2 Digital Living System can tackle just about any multimedia task you throw its way. Able to house large music and movie collections, the unique PC accommodates 200 discs in its changer unit so you wont have move an inch to switch between TV, DVD, or music content. Designed primarily for playing audio, the Olive Musica connects to your stereo and does many of the same tricks as the VAIO.

And if youre lucky enough to escape to a summer house, you can bring your digital entertainment experience with you, both the Dell XPS M2010 and Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV650 Media Center systems are transportable and look great in any room.

      In this roundup:

Sony VAIO XL2 Digital Living System
Currently the ultimate union of PC and consumer electronics technology, the VAIO XL2 stores up to 200 physical CD or DVD discs and runs Microsofts Media Center to play, rip, or burn your digital content.

      Dell XPS M2010
The wildly designed XPS M2010 is perhaps the ideal computer for a high-style office or den. This Media Center boasts a slick slot-loading DVD burner, huge 20.1-inch LCD display, and detachable wireless keyboard, plus folds shut like a notebook.

      Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV650
One of the most innovative Media Center laptops on the market, the Qosmio has all the AV connections you could ever want along with the companys long anticipated high-definition HD DVD drive.

      Olive Musica
No ordinary CD player, the Musica is a robust Linux-powered device that can rip tracks directly to its 160GB hard drive, burn CDs on command, and access your PCs music library via Wi-Fi connection.
