When Google buys big, they buy really big.
According to New York Magazine, one of the Google co-founders recently bought space in the tower section of 15 Central Park West, a yet-to-be-completed behemoth in Manhattan that also houses Denzel Washington, Sting, and hedge fund manager Daniel Loeb.
Either Larry or Sergey reportedly paid as much as Sting did for his $30 million airy manse. Sting’s place has 5,500 square feet, five bedrooms and a terrace.
According to a reporter friend of mine who covers New York real estate from time to time, the building has brought in over $1 billion in sales so far, a North American condo record.
