Government workers going into the field on military or homeland security operations need not leave videoconferencing technologies at the office.

Tandberg this week will make available its Tactical line of mobile videoconferencing systems that come packaged in ruggedized briefcases with aluminum skins.

The Tactical 6000 and 2500 systems provide a 15-inch screen, headset, camera, microphone and speakers.
